Cross-border interregional cooperation as a driver for the development of the Eastern Arctic zone of the Russian Federation ”

On October 18, 2021, from 15:00 to 18:00 Khabarovsk time (08: 00-12: 00 Moscow time), Khabarovsk State University of Economics and Law, together with the Arctic Research Center of Hokkaido University, will hold an international online conference on the Zoom platform. Cross-border interregional cooperation as a driver for the development of the Eastern Arctic zone of the Russian Federation ”.

The event is also co-organized by the Japanese Human Resource Development Platform for Japanese-Russian Economic Cooperation and Human Resources Exchange (HaRP), the Arctic Sustainable Development Challenges II (ArCS) II program and the UArctic Thematic Network on the Arctic in Asia – Asia in the Arctic.
The conference is held to exchange international experience on the potential for the development of economic and research activities in the regions of the Russian Arctic. This event is part of a series of online seminars at the Arctic Research Center of Hokkaido University, which is being held throughout 2021. The conference will be attended by teachers, researchers and representatives of public policy circles from Russia, Japan, China, the United States of America (Alaska), as well as representatives of Russian regional authorities.
