Northern Sustainable Development Forum

On September 24th – 28th 2019 the city of Yakutsk hosted and international conference «Northern Sustainable Development Forum». Head of our Research Center Aleksandr Voronenko took part in this event.

Research Center for SCO and APR of Khabarovsk State University of Economics and Law (KSUEL) took active participation in the 24th meeting of Russian-American Pacific Partnership (RAPP)

On 26th and 27th of June the 24th annual meeting of RAPP was held in Khabarovsk. It is hard to overestimate the meaning of this event for the development of interregional cooperation between Russia and the USA. RAPP is a well-known forum with participation of local and federal authorities and private sector. Acting rector of KSUEL Irina Zikunova and head of KSUEL’s research center Aleksandr Voronenko participated in bypassed event.

Videoconference with the vice-president of «BRAVO 369 Flight Foundation» Craig Lang

On May 6th, prior to the Victory Day, our Research Center organized a videoconference with the founder and vice-president of the US NGO «BRAVO 369 Flight Foundation» Craig Lang in Khabarovsk State University of Economics and Law. The company was established to commemorate the heroic work of Soviet and American pilots, who had been delivering war aircrafts from Alaska to Siberia under the Lend-Lease project during the World War II.

About the Russian-American Pacific Partnership Forum

On June 26th – 27th 2019 the 24th annual forum of Russian-American Pacific Partnership (RAPP) will take place in Khabarovsk. The capital of Khabarovsk territory will host such a significant event for the development of Russian-American relations for the first time.

About international forum «Arctic – territory for dialogue»

On 8-10th of April director of The Research Center for SCO and APR of Khabarovsk State University (KSUEL) of Economics and Law Aleksandr Voronenko took part in international forum «Arctic – territory for dialogue» in St. Petersburg.

The current state and problems of intensifying cooperation between the regions of the Far East of Russia and the provinces of the Republic of Korea at the beginning of the XXI century

The turn of Russia to the East assumes the need to intensify economic cooperation with the PRC, Japan, the Republic of Korea and also the countries of Southeast Asia in the Far East of Russia.

The economic cooperation of South Korea with the regions of the Far East got start of its developing after the establishment of diplomatic relations between the USSR and the Republic of Korea in 1991.

Cooperation between the Northeastern provinces of the People’s Republic of China and the Russian Far East regions within the framework of the One Belt One Road Initiative. Challenges and prospects

According to the statement of the PRC Ambassador to Russia, Li Huey, the Russian Federation is an important participant and key partner of China in the framework of the One Belt One Road initiative.

The Northern sea route as a catalyst for integration in North East Asia

Integration process in North East Asia is moved slowly with lots of difficulties. The article considers NEA countries cooperation in the Arctic (Northern sea route particularly) as one of potential tools to boost their trade links with Russia and European Union correspondingly. In its turn Russia can use it to develop its Far Eastern and Arctic regions. In addition this kind of cooperation lets NEA countries to formulate some provisions for future integration accord.

REGULATION OF AGRICULTURE IN THE TRANS-PACIFIC PARTNERSHIP

State support for agriculture and its regulation within the framework of various regional and bilateral trade agreements is carried out on the basis of and in accordance with the legal norms developed by the World trade organization (WTO). In contrast, under the TPP participants attempt to overcome the prevailing in world trade barriers and difficulties. At the same time, countries have agreed to adopt measures that are currently only being discussed within the WTO.

The input of Komsomolskii-on-Amur aircraft building plant into the formation of the long-range bomber aviation during the WWII

The main plane of USSR long-range bomber aviation during the Great Patriotic War and WWII was legendary IL-4 (it was called DB-3f [«dalnii bombardirovshik», which in Russian means long-range bomber] till March of 1942) in all types. During the war 5 256 aircrafts of this kind were built and 2 732 of them were produced in Komsomolsk-on-Amur on the aircraft plant №126. Also in 1938-1942 the plant №126 produced 280 aircrafts DB-3 (the ancestor of Il-4 and DB-3f), which took its part in the battles of WWII, especially against the militaristic Japan.
